Man wants to escape his life, goes to wilderness, finds out wilderness is haunted my a man who was killed by a group of other men in a nasty way, then manages to eventually escape and is haunted by his experiences. The object of a gay man’s love is killed (Michelle I’m so glad you finally let them live in the Wolf Brother series, I hate the bury-your-gays trope)
