As always - excellent!!! Only trouble is that I get to the end too quickly!!! Fantastic narration from Adam Simms! Looking forward to the next instalment in the Eddy Flynn series now I’ve devoured them all
Brilliant
A new Steve Cavanagh is always a cause of celebration and this is no exception. Gripping and unpredictable from beginning to end - I just loved it!
Didn’t quite have the same edge as other titles in the series.
Reasonable story line although not as much of a page turner as others in the series.
It missed the court room nitty gritty forensics aspect which I’ve grown to love and felt like it was going down the typical Hollywood film route of the hero’s family has been wronged and he will do what ever it takes for vengeance. It’s certainly no 50/50 or The plea.
Bloch. Seemingly the whole of New York know and fear her. Her ‘reputation’ in each book is getting more and more tiresome as they go on.
The way Flynn and Brook magically put the pieces together (Brook in this case noticing things are linked) feels a bit lazy and convenient.
As a massive Flynn fan, this one missed the mark for me.
