Warming the Stone Child: Myths and Stories about Abandonment and the Unmothered Child

I would recommend this for women, specifically those who enjoy myths and fairy tales. I have listened to this several times and each one is different and I get something more from it. I love it because it shows the strength and positivity that can come from childhood trauma, rather than being trapped by it. Absolutely excellent.

I'm confused by this. I purchased the recording a year or so ago. I wanted to download it again and was instructed to buy it again. It didn't download and I tried again and I was prompted to purchase this a third time. It's unfortunate that I'll have to request a refund for two purchases. The system should operate more smoothly.

I can't recommend this audiobook enough. Insightful and heart warming, a real gem of a book, by a diamond of an author who clearly has a deep understanding of the issues involved. I personally found this hugely helpful to me at a time when I really needed to hear a clear voice making sense of the tangled web of emotions I'd caught myself in. I highly highly recommend for anybody who has an interest in the subject matter. Specifically the audiobook rather than the book. Listen and you'll see why.
