Narration let this book down
Having listened to The inheritance and being very impressed I was disappointed with some of the narration particularly from the secondary female readers. The voices were continually earnest without light and shade which contributed to making their contribution
unconvincing. Such a shame as the storyline was good.
I’m afraid it’s spoiled the listening experience for me
