As the only woman homicide inspector in San Francisco, Lindsay Boxer has to be tough. But nothing she has seen prepares her for the horror of the honeymoon murders, when a brutal maniac begins viciously slaughtering newly wed couples on their wedding nights. Lindsay is sickened by the deaths, but her determination to bring the murderer to justice is threatened by her own personal tragedy. So she turns to Claire, a leading coroner, Cindy, a journalist and Jill, a top attorney, for help with both her crises, and the Women's Murder Club is born.

1st to die
Thought the whole girly club a bit tweedy, a bit forced into the story. Why a homicide detective would become friendly with a rookie reporter in the middle of a high profile case and trust her with inside police information when she didn't even know her is taking poetic license to new heights. Otherwise the suspense was excellent and kept me gripped and the twist at the end was brilliant. I also liked the side story of her love affair it kept me (as a woman) more interested then the build up of the girly club.
I coud not put this book down FANTASTIC!!! A must read
