Really interesting read
I really enjoyed this book, it was so raw and hard hitting but with wit and sarcasm which had me smiling as I was reading it! It’s a real eye opener into the awful conditions in some of the UK prisons and how bad they are run, mainly due to staff shortages. It was a book I found hard to put down once I started reading it. It was recommended to me by my daughter and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
An insight into a different world
A thoroughly fascinating insight into how Wandsworth works (or mostly doesn’t). I didn’t think I would become so engrossed in a book about prison life. I learned a great deal and really enjoyed this book.
