A magical escape
All of the Caraval and Once Upon a Broken Heart books are written so beautifully. A Curse for True Love is such a wonderful ending to the series, and answers some unanswered questions from the Caraval series. Loved it so so much
Happy ending which they deserved:)
Firstly i have to say that im so glad they finally got their happy ending and its all good now. But im also quite disappointed to be honest. Characters like Luc and Marisol were just not even in the book, Lala the best friend randomly shows up once in the entire book?? And we got so many Apollo povs that in my opinion weren’t really needed. Overall the ending just felt so rushed. Like we just learned about what Jacks *gave away* for Eva to be safe, and in only (what felt like) 3 chapters they’ve already solved the problem and the book is over.
Where has all the angst and tension gone from the first two books?? Why are there so many open endings and overall the plot of the book felt a little too convenient. So i have to say that the first two books were just better than this one :/
Meh
It seems the Garber 3rd book curse has struck once more. I loved the first two of this series but this book was underwhelming, the same with the Caraval series. It seemed like nothing really happened and I’m still left with most of the questions I had before I read this. I’m really disappointed to be honest. There was a couple of typos too. It felt like I was dragged out way too much but the ending was really rushed.
