A Deal for Nefertiti

I made a deal with God. "Save my horse's life and give me three more years with her and I will write this story for your glory."
God kept His part of the deal. But He placed me, and my horse, on a path strewn with brambles and rocks on the way to claiming that miracle. The miracle was given. I struggled with keeping my part of the deal.
