A Gift from the Gods

Enna is a monster hunter alongside her two best friends. She meets a good dog and his owner by chance, then they part ways. The monster hunters inadvertently save the life of a marked man (the dog owner from earlier) during the chaos of two groups of brigands attacking the town. They find out Cephas is a scholar and philosopher whose ideas angered nobles enough that assassins are hunting him.
