'A Pinch Of Sage And Dredly' charts the somewhat unlikely adventures of shiftless Deadheads Jedec Sage and Salokin Dredly as they thwart evil, battle the establishment and set off on a quest for comfortable footwear.
As they stamp their carbon footprint by jetsetting from London to New York and even Billings, Montana, they are beset by psychotic moustaches, shape-shifting polar bears, squeaky shoes, Swiss killer gnomes, nasty children's entertainers and surveillance pigeons. Will they find what they seek? Will their elderly neighbour, Albert, live his dream and get off with Stephanie Powers? Does any of it matter? Um... not really... but it's worth a read anyway.

Lol. Don't drink while reading
I did and ended up with coffee coming out of my nose because i laughed while trying to swallow. It says it's about Deadheads, which it kind of is, but its not just a load of hippy BS. its surreal comedy that had me laughing to the last page. Its an action thriller on acid - I mean there's a huge fight scene with a mustache and a cat that smokes a pipe and does electronics. Theres a bit of James Bond about it, but it's not like Austin Powers its not a spoof. It's just funny. Period. I found it because a Deadhead friend of mine was raving about the website where you can get the first few chapters and then I was hooked. They used to say theres nothing like a Grateful Dead concert, well now theres nothing like this book.
