A Proliferation of Shadows

In his fifth volume of poetry Cliff Burns addresses subjects like mortality and aging, faith, love and the interactions between human beings and the world around them. These poems range in scale from the microscopic to the cosmic, offering a vision that is personal and intimate, while at the same time acknowledging the invisible harmonies that resonate among all living things, linking us in a complex web of connections, a continuum stretching from the far future to the origins of the universe itself.
