CERHA will reach her charge, even if it means obliterating everything she is.

To a fabricant, there is no higher calling than function, and CERHA is no exception. A bodyguard by manufacture, hers should be a simple existence: keep Annalise Fletcher fed, accompanied, and sheltered from any harm that may befall her.

The complicating factor, for both of them, is love. Their life together is a precarious secret to be kept from the watchful eye of Fleetops, but for a time their bond is unshakable.

Then Annalise vanishes away to an embattled starship called Upon Silver Tides. Driven by fear, love, and function, CERHA hurls herself in unthinking pursuit, but what waits for her aboard this forsaken vessel is not salvation.

Here, CERHA will descend into a web of insanity that will force her to confront the bleak truth at the heart of her function, and nothing will ever be the same again.
