A real feel-good holiday romance. Bluestar Island is the setting for this snowy Christmas story. Liam Turner a furniture maker is suddenly a single father to his three year old son after the death by avalanche of his ex-wife. Melinda a bookstore owner and his friend, has a scare when her father has an heart attack and there was inadequate facilities in their small town to cope with such emergency and wants to raise enough money for the town to get a new fully equipped facility for the town. Scrooge , Blackwell the owner of most of the township though thinks Christmas time is an ideal time to raise everyone’s rents…. Melinda makes a deal with the grump … It’s only when he glimpses true love that he repents. A brilliant Christmas story of love, romance ,redemption and faith. Very well written heartwarming, page-turner.
