Publisher Description
Former Shield Special Ops Agent, Jonathan Colemen spent his career tracking down shifters until the fateful day he suffered severe burns from an explosion at the rogue Onyx Pack den. He wakes from his coma to discover he's half tiger and unable to resist a certain male wolf and female Healer.
Wolf Sentry, Tanner Raines is more like his father than he will admit. He holds in his anger for what the male did to his mother, anger that keeps his wolf on edge. He focuses on killing rogues without becoming one himself. That means never claiming his mates, keeping them at a distance.
Wolf Healer, Sasha Brooks has known Tanner is her mate since childhood, and she's growing tired of waiting for him to claim her. When Jonathan comes into the Ashwood Falls medical center, her wolf goes wild. Two mates! While her wolf is all for claiming both males, her human heart is confused.
When Tanner's mom—the wolf Pack Alpha—is kidnapped, it takes all his focus and control to not kill everyone in sight to get to her. The two people he's avoided and pushed away may be the only ones who can help him hold it together. And they need to work together. Because if they fail, his mom's life isn't the only one on the line. Evil is brewing and threatens to destroy everyone involved, including his mates and the Pack.
Customer Reviews
Action packed. Love Triangle and so much more
I’m giving this 4 stars for how quick the storyline engaged me. Straight away I was interested In how a change in circumstances of a special op’s agents life never prepared him for the shock that was waiting for him after a near death experience & also who was there to help him accept and deal with who he had spent his career persecuting. Months after rehabilitation he has to admit to himself the overwhelming attraction of two people he would never normally have any feelings for drove him to distraction. Now he needs to know if it’s reciprocated but His timing isn’t great when the Female Alpha of their pack is abducted and one of them is her son driven to near madness with the need to find his mother.
The other a healer who has been in love with him since they was children, but now Jon is here she also wants him to. Will she give one up for the other or could they all be together as one? In between this complicated love story we see how the ratings of a mad man threatens the Alphas life, as she try’s to gain the trust of a demon in the next cell to help with their survival. Alongside all this is a running war against mutants and action constantly happening. This being the first book I had read in the series made me think it would be better to have read the whole series purely for the background on some of the characters, however it didn’t spoil things for me and I would definitely look for the next one.
