A beautiful, entitled and indulged aristocrat gracing the courts of Louis XVI, Jolie Levant is also an avid intellectual who has sworn her heart to Olivier Marceau and the cause of les insurgés. Olivier, a poor but beautiful , court transcriber travels an ocean to join a war in order to ingratiate himself to her disapproving father. Can love follow and forever follow if she steals away to be with him? Only time can tell.
