A heartwarming and hilarious novel from the Sunday Times bestselling author

‘The feeling you get when you read a Milly Johnson book should be bottled and made available on the NHS’ Debbie Johnson

Tis the season to be jolly… But can Eve find happiness through the frost?

Eve has never liked Christmas. So when her adored elderly aunt dies, the last thing she is expecting is to be left a theme park in her will. A theme park with a Christmas theme …

And that's not the only catch. Her aunt's will stipulates that Eve must run the park with a mysterious partner, the exotically named Jacques Glace. Who is this Jacques, and why did Aunt Evelyn name him in her will?

But Eve isn't going to back down from a challenge. She's determined to make a success of Winterworld, no matter what. Can she overcome her dislike of Christmas, and can Jacques melt her frozen heart at last?

I read this book for my book club & I have loved reading every page of this lovely story! It is predictable, yes...but it doesn't matter because you love the characters so much. There are a few twists & turns along the way but it all works out the way you want it to. In this book you feel like your friends with all the characters, like you've known them for years. See yourself walking round Winterpark, eating ice-cream, riding the train, stroking the reindeer etc! It's easy & a joy to read...definitely puts a smile on your face & a happy tear in your eye! I loved it so much...can't wait to read it again!

A winter wonder (or autumn)

I loved it. I don't know if I need to say anything else? It's a lovely story, ok, so you know what's going to happen but the bits you guess are so good that you don't mind guessing them. Winterland/Santapark, enchanted forests, schneegelsnackel thingy whatever, ice-cream flavours you can taste - lovely Violet and Pav, all of it, it's all lovely. My only problem is that it was too darned short. And there isn't a real Winterworld for me to go and visit right now. I'm missing Eve and Jacques already.
