A Winter Wish

"Winter was on. 

Santa had come and gone. 

But strange as it may sound, 

There was just no snow to be found!"


A winter wish is about all those little minds who in the middle of a cold yet snowless winter yearn to see the snow. The story begins with a boy named Rio who wishes very hard every night for snow till his wishes are finally granted. When he wakes up to a snow-filled morning his day of fun,  learning and endless joys are just about to begin! By day's end, Rio has enjoyed skating, sledding,  and more. That night tired yet content Rio is off once again to the dreamy land of wondrous wishes.


"That night in bed, 

thoughts ran through his head. 

With a blissful smile, he slept in a haze, 

under dreamy clouds of more wishful happy days!"

 


The book makes use of gentle rhymes and splendid images to entice the young viewer and reader to experience the story along  with Rio. This is only the start of Rio's wish filled days. As days go by and seasons change more wishes are just around the corner for Rio and his young friends.
