Aboriginal Life
Publisher Description
This book looks at the different ways Aboriginal people respect the place where they live. They know that if they look after their environment then it will provide them with food, water and shelter.
The Tools, Totems & Tucker Enviro-Stories program was run with students from across the central west and tableland regions of New South Wales in 2014. These students were given the opportunity to learn about traditional Aboriginal culture from local experts and their teachers. Students used what they learnt to create stories about Aboriginal culture and how this culture was used in the past and in current times. There have been ten books produced as part of this program.
