Admiral's Light

Miles lives with his Grandfather and the serving girl who has worked for the old man for thirty years. His duties are important, but dull. He is expected to check the two lighthouses twice a night to be sure they are properly lit. He feels nothing ever happens and yearns for adventure. But a few years later, a sailor named Tony comes to board with Grandpa. He says he was a friend of Grandpa's son Christopher, who was lost at sea years ago. But did Tony really know Uncle Christopher? Miles is thrilled for someone besides his Grandfather to talk to. However, Miles soon learns that when it comes to adventure, be careful what you wish for.
