Publisher Description

Alaric the Goth was a Germanic leader who defended Rome and later pillaged it for three days time. Alaric and his soldiers entered Rome on the stormy evening of August 24, 410 A.D. The founder of an early Nazi Party, Alaric took command of the Goths at age 25. The Goths had been permitted to cross the Danube before settling in what is now modern Hungary. Over time they defended the empire from encroachment. Eventually they exacted more and more tribute for their services.
