Shockingly powerful stuff
‘All Across the Spectrum’ is one of the most honest and powerful things I’ve read in a long time. I must confess I wept my way through the first few chapters where Eileen speaks about her own past and coming to terms with an autism diagnosis for herself and her children.
I’m feeling rather overwhelmed with gratitude for people who are willing to share their life for the benefit of those who are hiding in the dark.
The book made me want to be a better
father to my autistic child, a better advocate to the world; it made me want to be a better person. What more can be said than that…
