Coming from the notebooks, the burning typewriter, the racing imagination of Jack Kerouac, who described himself as a ‘… strange, solitary, catholic mystic …’ – he was celebrated, then destroyed by fame, neglected in the years that followed and then rediscovered. We are still discovering who he is today.
