Book One in the First Things Series
"A sweet read with lots of quirky banter, angst and a touch of smexy."
"This is THAT story...the one that grabs you from the first page and you just can't seem to put the book down till you find out the ending!"
Seventeen-year-old Kari meets Neil Mars. “Neil as in Armstrong and Mars…as in Bruno.” A boy who beats every vampire, werewolf, highlander fantasy Kari has ever had. But she knows she can’t get close to him. Not ever. Because that would mean telling him everything. Coming clean. And Kari can’t bear the idea of changing the way Neil looks at her. Like she’s the only girl in the world. His reverence is something too precious to lose. Perhaps even at the cost of losing him.
But Kari doesn't know why Neil calls her his ‘Angel’ and when she finds out, she realizes what love is all about. Boundless joy, unending longing and a lot of heartache.

All My Life
LOVED IT! The message of this book is one that needs to be more well known and I'm so glad someone has focused on it and gave people in Kira's position an idea of what to do! Not only was the plot brilliant the characters were equally as enticing, portraying authenticity and real emotion the whole way through- you feel alive just by reading. I am so in love with Neil and Kira's relationship- it is something to envy and desperately want for yourself! Brilliant read, would definitely recommend! Can't wait to read another one of Ban's books!
Amazing.
A book that will hook you. Make you feel the emotions Kari feels, aswell as showing the true side of spur of the moment decisions. You feel every single emotion Kari feels. The hurt, the love, the attraction, the pain, the stress. I love this book and have re read it many times:)
