What if we are alone? What if human beings are the only intelligent life? Alone? explores a possible future where humankind alone is impelled by the changing Earth to explore and seek out other life, regardless of the results or consequences. 

Starting in the Neolithic, Alone? weaves a thread of life that sews humankind 20,000 years into a tapestry to the stars Relief will only come when all are dead or the few manage to free themselves from the bonds of the Solar System.

Albert Repaul, among many others, is faced with the growing dilemma of Earth’s pending demise and how to save it. He is also faced with moral dilemmas that he must overcome. When life and death become blurred, who will rule the Earth in the future? In the end, he must leave the Earth to save it. What will he find?
