First time buyer
Loved the story absolutely brilliant finished it in two days as I couldn’t stop and had to find out more so glad I purchased this.
Good story, predictable in places, good to see some of the Van Helsings!
I enjoyed this book, but did guess Braelyns struggles and what her father had done quite early in the book. I didn’t hate Saint or his guys, because they were obviously hurting from everything that had been done to them. Although it did get annoying how they wouldn’t listen to anything Brae said. I was curious about the connection with Eryx, and feel like it wasn’t explored in detail. But maybe there will be follow up appearances since they’re set in the same universe as the Bulletproof Damsel. And loved it when the Van Helsings, Ian and Hunter were mentioned. So it seems to be on a good footing to match the Fae chronicles in how big of a universe it could be. Overall I enjoyed the story, but it was a little predictable in places, and I didn’t find myself sitting on the edge of my seat as much as I have for other Amelia Hutchins books. I did keep asking myself “when will they work out it’s Brae been abused and tortured in the video”. But I do hope it branches out into a wider universe…the way it ended, it did point towards a story based on Enzo and Ezekiels exploits. So here’s hoping there’s more to come from this band of misfits!
