Faced with the difficult task of telling Brent about Angel, Lacie is unprepared for a visit from the King. Pushed into a difficult position by the Kings intentions Lacie learns the only person she can truly trust is Brent.

Unable to contact Lacie, Brent struggles to control his Lion. Banned from Brisbane he must wait for her to come to him. When he’s faced with the reality of the King’s actions he can no longer control his cat.

Determined to be reunited with Brent, Lacie knows in her heart that he’s special. He fills a gaping hole in her life, but threats come from all directions and Lacie must fight to stay beside her Alpha Lion.
