An Asian Utopia

The first stop on Commander Gulliver's itinerary was the Asian Utopia, Kino. It is a former province of China but has been given a long leash to develop advanced solar power, nanotechnology for Waters desalinization and to develop programs that would enhance the progress of society. One of the major experiments has been in licensing parents to have babies. They have also developed innovative educational programs as well as retirement systems that rely on individual financing.
