Publisher Description
In the grand era of the Prince Regent's rule, when the glittering ton reigned supreme, a simple vicar's daughter dared to dream the unthinkable. Condemned by birth to the life of an impoverished companion, Elizabeth Bennet's existence was one of drudgery and loneliness. Until the day she first laid eyes upon him - the dashing, brooding Duke of Derbyshire.
With his aristocratic bearing and wealth beyond imaging, the Duke embodied everything forbidden to one of Elizabeth's station. Yet his penetrating gaze awakened a fire within her that refused to be quelled. Though fully aware her love was an insurmountable folly, Elizabeth could not ignore the traitorous flutter of her heart whenever in his presence.
But the Duke's world is one she was never meant to enter, for he is already betrothed to another. An inescapable chasm exists between them, one that class and society have decreed can never be breached.
In this enthralling Regency romance, follow Elizabeth's journey between the choice of accepting the harsh reality of her circumstances or reaching for a love that could potentially destroy them both. When faith and passion collide, will fate be on the side of this most unlikely pair? Or are some dreams simply too dangerous to be allowed?

Absolutely shocking!
I’m not sure whether this is just badly written or a very poor translation but it is pretty much unreadable.
