Publisher Description
NAJP: In your mind, what is the legacy of Fritz Perls? What has he contributed to therapeutic psychology? JW: It fades as new generations of Gestalt therapists are trained. In some cases Perls is even disavowed - at least the way he DID Gestalt Therapy. Theory is much more elaborate and the literature now voluminous. Nevertheless, the early documents are read by all students and the foundational work, Gestalt Therapy by Frederick Perls, Paul Goodman, and Ralph Hefferline, is still gone over word for word. I don't recommend it.
