If you are interested in learning more about the wildlife of South Luangwa in Zambia then I would highly recommend Animals in Action for IPad. I run a wildlife and conservation education organisation for local children and use a wide range of text books and web based resources for my lessons and activities but this book sets a new standard in African field guides. It expertly combines informative text, first class photography and true life sounds. Animals in Action is unmatched in its clarity of text and supporting photographs that actually portray different aspects of the animal's behaviour or appearance. This book is as not a recycling of text from other sources; much of it was gleaned from years and years of personal research and observation in South Luangwa and other wildlife hotspots of Southern Africa. As a result the book has a fresh and unique feel about it and on each page I found myself waiting for the next thing I didn't know about the animal to jump out at me. The book should appeal to all ages and all levels of interest. It is unique and definitely deserves a 5 star rating. Well done Derek and Sarah!
