About the author
SIERRA GREER grew up in Minnesota before attending Williams College and Johns Hopkins University. A former high school English teacher, she writes about the future from her home in rural Connecticut.

★★★★ Go Away Doug, we don’t like you…
I really enjoyed Annie Bot. I loved Annie as a character and the complexity of her relationship with Doug — the book raises some really interesting questions about love, control, ownership and what it actually means to be human.
I really disliked Doug. I found him selfish and, frustratingly, he constantly seemed to convince himself that he wasn’t. The way he wanted Annie to behave and exist on his terms made me increasingly angry with him as the story went on.
Annie, though, was brilliant. Watching her develop her own thoughts, feelings and sense of self was easily my favourite part of the book. A clever, unsettling read that gave me much more to think about than I expected.
Achingly good.
Infuriating, delicate, feminine and fearsome. Annie Bot is an addictive and compelling read. Annie may be a robot but her experience is entirely familiar to that of a human female. Highly recommend.
