Publisher Description
Keelie Hayes had one rule: never trust a man who could skate away.
She broke it the moment she watched Cormac Bouchard spend forty minutes on the ice with Andy — a little boy who doesn't warm up to anyone — until Andy laughed for the first time all day.
That's the thing about Cormac. On the ice, he's the Wildcatters' captain — the toughest, most disciplined player on the team. Off it, he's the guy who remembers your coffee order, shows up when he says he will, and has apparently decided that Keelie Hayes is worth every wall she throws at him.
She has good reasons for those walls. Her father built them. Her ex reinforced them. And the fact that Cormac's ex-wife keeps showing up with her silk dresses and pearl necklaces isn't exactly helping. But Cormac has done the work. Paid for his mistakes. And he's not interested in another shot at his past — only at the future Keelie won't let herself want.
Another Shot is a steamy sports romance featuring a found-family you'll want to move in with, a hero who is equal parts captain on the ice and teddy bear off it, and a love story that earns every single tear.
Another Shot is a steamy hockey romance featuring:
Reformed bad-boy hero

Found family, Wildcatters chaos
High heat, big emotions, and a swoony happily-ever-after
Keep reading the Wildcatters Hockey Series, where every win on the ice comes with a fight for the heart.

Trust Issues
I really felt for Cormac and what he had been through and how he had managed to get himself on an even keel after five years apart from his ex. He was so likeable, upfront and honest. Keelie whilst admirable with how she had survived her childhood and her worthy job, seemed less likeable as Cormac was having to constantly reassure her and still she didn’t trust him. I did however find this an enjoyable read and will read more by this author.

Absolutely Amazing, Emotional and Addictive Read
This is book one in The Wildcatters Hockey Series and it is Keelie and Cormac's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Keelie has had such a hard life and after having her heart broken again she vows not to let it happen again and now she has built a wall around her heart that is so high so no one can penetrate them and it seems to be working. When Cormac's life with his wife when done the pan costing him his team and position in Toronto he was sent to play for The Wildcatters Hockey Team in Houston so he made the best of what he could and restarted his career and life in a new house and new place and had no intentions of ever going back but the one thing that he wants the most is a family but that wouldn't be happening any time soon. When Keelie and Cormac met the attraction and chemistry between them was instant and strong but they both have baggage, trust issue's and have been through so much and many ups and downs but there love is so strong that eventually it brings them back together and they get the happy ending that they both deserve. I absolutely loved Cormac's team of friend's who became there family and gave them all the love and support that they needed. This book takes you in right from the first page and was so addictive that it kept your attention throughout and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series and I recommend you read this book and you will definitely not be disappointed.

An enjoyable read!
Cormac thought his world had ended when he was sent to Houston from Toronto but in fact building a team gave him focus and purpose. He was divorced from Shannon and life went on, but seeing Keelie on a school skating trip made him reconsider how he felt about relationships.
Keelie had made a life for herself away from her parents and was determined to make life work.
Meeting Cormac threatened everything she had built. Can they find away to work it out or will people interfere?
No spoilers get reading and enjoy.
