This non-fiction book for 10-14 year olds contains audio and video material covering Antarctica; Penguins; Icebergs as well as Shackleton's dramatic polar expedition of 1914-17. The book can be used to develop non-chronological and biographical writing. There are links to lesson plans for teachers and a blog.
