Artifice

Part fashion spread, part soap opera, with a dash of erotica and lots of humor, Artifice: A Smartphone View is a collection of over 140 pictures, all taken and processed with an iPhone 4, of ten dolls enacting an array of scenarios where they play villain and victim, queen and slave, beauty and monster, Madonna and whore; while wearing fabulous outfits in an array of locations. The book also features mini biographies of each of the ten “models” and “actors”, blurring further the lines between fantasy and reality, while commenting on the cult of celebrity, beauty and scandal in contemporary society.
