Publisher Description

Ever since Viola's boyfriend broke up with her, she has spent her days silently wishing—to have someone love her again and, more importantly, to belong again—until one day she inadvertently summons a young genie out of his world and into her own. He will remain until she makes three wishes.

Jinn is anxious to return home, but Viola is terrified of wishing, afraid she will not wish for the right thing, the thing that will make her truly happy. As the two spend time together, the lines between master and servant begin to blur, and soon Jinn can't deny that he's falling for Viola. But it's only after Viola makes her first wish that she realizes she's in love with Jinn as well . . . and that if she wishes twice more, he will disappear from her life—and her world—forever.

Jackson Pearce spins a magical tale about star-crossed lovers, what it means to belong . . . and how important it is to be careful what you wish for.

As you wish :)

I first heard about this book when I had a look around at other books that I liked and after reading some reviews I was confident to buy this book as it seemed to be something I would enjoy ;) and let me tell you I wasn't disappointed, I really liked the originality of the book and loved the alternation of POV, which let you as the reader get to know both Viola and Jinn. For me though the best characters were Jinn, who was quite funny and impatient, and Lawrence - who was just lovely as her best friend. Good read :) I recommend.

One of my favourites!

This book is witty and charming. I love how unique it is even though it’s following similar characteristics to most romance novels. It’s a book that I have re-read over and over. I love to come back to it when I need a little boost, because even though it’s quite short it makes you feel happy ☺️
If there you could only read one book for the rest of your life. I’d gladly read this book every day.
It’s so different from any of Jackson Pearce’s novels which makes it so great.
