THE STORY

I was disappointed with the Siege of Terra after the often excellent Horus Heresy series. This is a welcome return to form - nuanced, philosophical, beautifully written. Fair warning, not a lot actually happens - this is very much about the aftermath and fallout of the Siege. But so much is being set up here for the next stage - the High Lords, the fissures between Primarchs, and how the Chaos forces will move forward without Horus. An excellent read for fans.
