Avoiding Space Madness

In a world teetering on the edge of collapse, Darwin spends his days in a dead-end toll booth job, long past the requirements of his parole. Music is his only escape, the one thing that makes life worth living—so when a bizarre turtle-like creature attacks him and steals his prized album collection, he doesn't hesitate to give chase.

Big mistake.

Darwin wakes up trapped in a dingy cell alongside a motley crew of fellow captives, each one foolish (or desperate) enough to chase after mysterious turtle. But when a sudden jailbreak tears open their prison, Darwin stumbles into something far stranger than he ever imagined: a hidden world where magic might actually be real.

As he navigates this impossible place, Darwin encounters enigmatic aliens, a towering pink bunny with unclear motives a corrupt politician who'll say anything to survive, and a haunting goddess who invades his dreams to force him to confront his deepest fear—death itself. Amid the chaos, he finds himself drawn to one of his ex-cellmates, though he can't tell if it's love or just terror driving him into her arms.

Sometimes the only way out is through. Sometimes there is no way out.
