Bayside Desires is a gorgeous new contemporary romance with everything from humour, heart, and a sizzling couple who will have you burning up in this fast paced, seaside town, summer romance.
Rick and Desiree, who tell the book from dual POV, have such a sweet connection, both in and out of the bedroom (trust me, things definitely get a bit hot and heavy with these two), their connection clear from the very start with the two of them drawn together with a real splash. One thing I loved about the book is the relationship between Desiree and her sister, Violet; it was not only fun to watch develop but key in developing Desiree’s character further. Both main characters find themselves at a crossroads as to where their futures lie in order for them to be happy as this summer romance turns into something much more. You do have to be open to insta-lust to fully embrace Rick and Desiree as things start rather quickly but it does work really well with the plot. And for fans of Melissa Foster’s books, we get to catch up with a couple of familiar faces which is always an added bonus to add that familiar warmth.
Oh and one last thing, if you love a mischievous dog, you’re going to love Cosmos!
If you are looking for an addictive sweet but sassy love at first sight contemporary romance, definitely give this book a read - I loved it!
