BBC micro:bit and the iPad

An introductory guide to show how to use the BBC micro:bit with an iPad. The BBC micro:bit is an exciting new device to encourage children to learn to code and be creative, as part of the BBC Make It Digital campaign.


The guide shows:

- how to prepare the BBC micro:bit and the iPad 

- how to use the BBC micro:bit iOS to pair the devices together  

- how to create your first code and

- how to transfer the code to the iPad.


Ideas for use across the curriculum are included for English, maths, science, history, geography, modern languages, design technology, art, music, physical education, religious education and citizenship.
