racism
This book tackles a challenging subject that should be embraced and spoken about rather than revoked in order to educate and give others the strength and resilience to overcome it. It is a delicate thing, to try to lessen the roaring ocean of shame that is anorexia, and I truly believe that there is a right way to go about it. A way free of prejudice and racist views. Paved by good intentions and a purity of heart to lessen a burden that holds the power to bleed through us and into the hearts of our children. Let us not colour the views of our community, let us strive towards a burgeoning acceptance of beauty and equality for all people, in the hope of a kinder, more loving society.
Let us create an example of grace in ourselves for all the world.
Disgusting
The repetitive use of the n-word in this book is not only disgusting, but inhuman. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. The racism is appalling!
