Rick Timmis ,

Good introduction to C++ using Xcode

What I liked most about this book is how concise the material is. The author uses solid, yet simple examples to get across the key foundation material that you'll need to get started quickly using Xcode and writing C++.

If your a complete beginner, then you'll really want a primer on some of the terms used, Namespace, Method, as the author takes for granted that you'll already know what these terms mean.

On the final plus note, this book is fast and you'll have your first program's running with an hour, this kind of hands approach is the correct way to get started, as you only learn to program by programming.

Good book, and well worth the cover price.
