PL/SQL

I am just over 10% the way through this book and finding it very irritating. When I read the intro it sounded like the book would have a professional if dry style. Instead it has a style far more akin to that of A Dummies Guide, content which at times is lacking completeness, and an order of discussion which moves on before completing the previous topic. Add to that, the fact that the physical format does not render well on the iPad and I am not sure I will complete the remaining 90%.

Well I didn't complete the book. I got as far as the section on OO and SOA, and at that point realised that outside of Pl/SQL the guy does not know what he is talking about.

My recommendation. There has to be better books out there on PL/SQL. I am now going to look for one.
