Have you ever wondered whether the story of Adam and Eve was more than just a myth? Did the Garden of Eden actually exist at some point in history? Can evolutionary science and biblical creationism ever be reconciled? Beresith might just contain the answers to those questions and more, because, although fiction, it is based on years of research and study, both scientific and theological. The title itself is ancient Hebrew for “in the beginning.” Most of all, however, it is a flight of fancy into the realm of “what if?” The story begins with anthropologist, Peter Hussein, returning to the land of his birth, Iran. During the previous summer, he had accidentally stumbled upon a hidden cave containing six ancient skeletons. Now he has come back to study the cave’s contents in more depth. He, along with his assistant, Miriam Nafud, and a team of students, are about to make an incredible discovery and embark on the adventure of a lifetime.
