The ultimate power couple
This is a fantastic insight into the history of Dallas and Lex. It feels like coming home whenever I read about these two. The ultimate O'Kanes, I always love hearing how their doing through the main series.
I found it really interesting getting into Dallas's headspace in his younger years. He always seemed impenetrable throughout the main series, it gave me greater understanding of how he came to be the leader of Sector Four. Lex came across a much softer character that I thought she was. She's the heart of the O'Kanes where as Dallas is the backbone. She truly sees everyone around her and isn't clouded by the responsibility of leadership. Dallas's view sometimes becomes a little narrow and he needs Lex to balance him out and see the bigger picture.
I personally think that their relationship is so strong because they didn't immediately jump into each other's arms. They needed to find their roles individually before they could really become so compatible, I think they would of destroyed each other without such a deep level of respect and understanding.
You couldn't find a couple more perfect for each other!
