Great book. Lovely to read I enjoyed. It very much
Wonderful!
Anna Sewell did an incredible job writing this masterpiece. Although quite long black beauty encompasses so many different aspects of society and life and is written in such a simple and quaint way it’s hard to believe it was written over 130 years ago. This story opens a window into Victorian life and the treatment of animals within it. It’s a moving and powerful story about friendship, cruelty and justice. I recommend this book to anyone 10+
