Pete Boland was busy doing nothing that summer. Long, stiflingly hot, lazy days stretched ahead of him. Then she called.

'Listen, Pete . . . you know that funfair, up at the recreation ground . . . I thought we could all meet up . . . You know, for old times' sake.'

But, where there are old times, there are old tensions. And as secrets, bitterness and jealousies resurface, five old friends are plunged into the worst night of their lives . . .

Teenage readers will find it impossible to tear themselves away from this dark, tense and gripping new novel from award-winning Kevin Brooks.

Black rabbit.

A powerful book with a few twists. Shame it ended so soon. Great read nonetheless.

Fantastic!!!

I am a huge fan of Kevin Brooks and I just want to say it was one of the best books I've ever read in my life Bunker diaries being my personal best! I would like to say something though. I would like to say that the ending wasn't what I hoped. The reason is because I didn't expect the mystery of Raymond to become something that could be unsolved. I would really like to see a twist in this book where we finally get to figure out what happened to Raymond. I really like how he uses this though as a cliffhanger at the end of the book. As I said apart from this this has to be one of the best books I have ever read and I'm looking forward to reading another of Kevin Brooks pieces.
