It's election time for the Preternaturals in Montreal.

There's drama, intrigue, power plays, and murder.

It gets up close and personal when Clementine Bayles' vampire boyfriend/employer is at the top of the list of suspects.

When he is sent into exile, it leaves Clementine, who has just inherited a seek and retrieve agency, trying to clear her boyfriend's name while dealing with a family feud of the vampire kind and new enemies.

Several dramatic events will slow her down, but with the help and support of old and new friends and her newly found biological father, Clementine won't stop until she finds answers and can reveal the vengeful mastermind behind the killings.
