Publisher Description

Plunge back into the riveting world of Emma Jameson's bestselling Lord & Lady Hetheridge Mystery Series with Blue Blooded—the most thrilling, shocking, and satisfying book yet!

Tony Hetheridge spent years as an esteemed Chief Superintendent for New Scotland Yard's "Toff Squad," tackling high-profile crimes among the rich and infamous. Now, he’s stepping into a brand-new career: private investigator. But his first case, the mysterious suicide of an Earl’s daughter and the subsequent disappearance of her twin brother leads to a dark, dangerous world: the circle of an unjustly acquitted murderer, Sir Duncan Godington.

As Tony goes undercover in the City of Westminster, racing against time to unravel the twins’ strange relationship with Sir Duncan, fiery wife Kate works on a high-tech political murder, and protégé DS Deepal Bhar contemplates the premature end of his policing career. Then Bhar gets a phone call that will change his life forever, from the one person who knows all of Sir Duncan’s secrets. Her testimony could put the baronet away once and for all—if she can be trusted.

Blue Blooded promises edge-of-your-seat suspense, intricate mysteries, and the characters you’ve come to know and love at their finest. From a lowly street homeless shelter to a London skyscraper’s very pinnacle, the stakes in this addition to the series will keep you reading far into the night. Don’t miss out—get yours today!

Book 5, more to follow

The plot slowly introduces the reader to all the characters, building up to a complex and explosive finale when I wondered if Tony, Kate and Paul would manage to survive. Obviously they did as the series continues with two more books, each having a different plot and the same location. Good reading, importantly, no cliffhangers.

Rating 4*. The plot is set in England about a British police investigation, yet US spelling is used. Why?
