Two men. Two stories. Two worlds colliding with a third to bring chaos to them all. This was not what Eric wanted to happen, but now he could see that once he started fighting back, the outcome was inevitable…and he was just as responsible for the pain and suffering it caused as were the men who had attacked him and Bobby, and the legal system that had ignored his complaint. To make what little amends he could, Eric set out to reveal American justice for the fraud it was. That meant going face to face with one of his attackers in hopes of eliciting an explanation that could be used as a confession – even though the man says he would very much enjoy a repeat of their “little session together.” What Eric doesn’t expect is to learn that what is right and what is justice are in the eye of the beholder…and that even the most depraved of men has good, logical, understandable reasons for the evil he commits. And what is worse – that the world is cruelly selective on those whom it deems worthy of protection…or condemnation.
