INTRODUCTION The co-occurrence of substance use and risky sexual behaviors has been well documented among adolescents and most particularly among incarcerated youth [1-5]. Adolescents who also exhibit symptoms of personality disorders, specifically borderline personality, may be at even higher risk due to the synergistic effects of these disorders.
